HPNG

The Hispanic Professionals Networking Groups seeks to increase the visibility of Hispanic business professionals by fostering a great unity through networking opportunities. NEW YORK * MIAMI

Monday, May 16, 2011

You're invited to the HPNG Entrepreneurs networking event on May 19th in New York.

The New Marketing Mix
Most entrepreneurs set out to promote their businesses armed with a marketing plan. However, the traditional mix of direct marketing via email lists, press releases and advertising has been shaken up thanks to the proliferation of social media and mobile marketing. But does your business really need it? Have these mediums become so ubiquitous that consumers have stopped paying attention?

Our guest speakers will address these and other questions regarding social media and mobile marketing. Also, they will share insight on how you can leverage these tools to reach a general audience and how to effectively market to Latinos.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Louis Pagan
Managing Partner
Hispanicize

Louis Pagan was a pioneer in the Latino Blogosphere for a number of years. He is currently the managing partner for Hispanicize, a B2B devoted to providing Latino bloggers, brands and agencies with the Hispanic social media resources and insights they need to succeed.

As co-founder of Latinos In Social Media (LATISM), he identified a market niche and organized a nationwide movement, which culminated with the first Latinos In Social Media conference tour, that will continue in years to come.

He's the receiver of the LISTA Rising Star Award, and has been recognized as a Rising Star and "One to Watch" by Latino Leaders Magazine.

Robert Fernandez Bucheli
President
CTA Mobile Media

Robert Fernandez Bucheli fined-tuned his marketing skills with companies such as Xerox Corporation where he worked for five years. His experience in marketing is helping organizations obtain a texting platform to more easily and effectively communicate with their audiences.

His current projects include working with the American Diabetes Association Latino Initiative, Birmingham International Center, Couture Fashion Week and Blaze the Stage, an affiliate program of BET’s 106 & Park. Through his efforts they have all extended the scope of their communication strategies and have dramatically increased revenue and donations by distributing their message through mobile marketing or a mobile giving platform.

Don't miss it, I'll see you there!
