Texas Diversity Council Webinar Series

Session Title: Latino Talent: Effective Strategies to Recruit, Retain & Develop Hispanic Professionals

Date: Thursday, June 5th, 2008
Time: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., CDT

Session Description: Due to their growing population and rising purchasing power, organizations see the Latino community as their next great source of intellectual capital and a catalyst for economic growth. Yet despite this interest in the Latino community, organizations are woefully unprepared to tap into the Latino talent pool because they do not have a textured understanding of Latino diversity. This lack of understanding and insight about the Latino community results in common mistakes made by corporations whose talent management strategies are ineffective when applied to the Latino community.

This informative session will provide much-needed insight about Latino diversity by addressing important terminology, key demographic statistics and an insightful analysis of Hispanic heritage. Numerous corporate best practices will be highlighted that demonstrate how such an insight into the Latino community provides the foundation for successful Latino diversity initiatives.

The main focus of the session concentrates on providing practical, real-world solutions that companies can apply immediately to more effectively recruit, retain and develop Latino professionals. This session is a must for diversity practitioners, human resource executives and will be enjoyed by Latino professionals.

To register for this event, go to the link below. Cost is very reasonable and only $69.00 per participant.
