HPNG Latino Leaders January Networking Event Invitation
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
You’re invited to the HPNG Latino Leaders Networking Event on January 31st in New York.
She is one of the most dynamic speakers I’ve had the honor to work with. Mariela recently presented at the HPNG Latino Leadership Conference in New York and has been a tremendous supporter of HPNG initiatives. From her best-selling books to her tireless work on empowering Latinas, she's a true inspiration for many of us.
Please join us as we proudly welcome:
Mariela Dabbah
Author, Speaker and Founder of the Red Shoe Movement
For the last eighteen years Mariela has devoted her enormous energy to helping young Latino students, women and professionals succeed in their quest of education and successful careers in the United States.
In this mission she has authored several award winning, best-selling books to help Latinos navigate the American system, most of which are available in English and Spanish. Her new book Poder de Mujer: Descubre Quien Eres Para Crear el Exito a tu Medida, has been on the best selling lists on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Nielsen since its release. Mariela founded the Red Shoe Movement to encourage women to wear red shoes to work on Tuesdays to signal their support for the career development of other women.
As a national, sought-after speaker, Mariela has presented at corporations such as Procter and Gamble, General Electric, Citigroup, AIG, Exxon/Mobil, HBO, Goldman Sachs, Verizon, JPMorganChase, McDonald's, Met Life, Time Inc., Duracell, AVON, and many others as well as at universities and non-profit organizations such as, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, the College Board, the National Association for Bilingual Education, The Conference Board, and National Society of Hispanic MBAs, among many others.
In addition to Mariela's presentation, we will be introducing a special guest who will be sharing a portion of the evening with our guest speaker.
Martin Parlato is the CEO and co-founder of Posibl.
Posibl is the first solidarity social network which uses crowdsourcing, philanthropy and social media to help people fulfill their dreams. The platform was founded by a small group of Argentine entrepreneurs and the initial round of investment put the valuation of the company in 2.5 million dollars.
Mr. Parlato is in the U.S. for meeting with investors, philanthropists and to do a media tour.

Ladies, wear your red shoes to Thursday’s event to signal your support for other women’s career goals. Men can wear a red shirt or a red tie to show support!
Don't miss it, I'll see you there!
